Hyperkinetic and electric, as the music he preaches, at an early age Orange absorved the fast dynamic of his city and its artistic raw material, learning to use it as a communication channel. Before he landed in local booths at 14, he had been a skater, a hardcore boy and a drum player in several punk bands. Not even losing an inch of his rocker attitude, after investigating the intelligent techno field, trip hop and ambient, he embraced drum & bass with faithful devotion. Known for his main role as an underground promotor -he was the cornerstone of some intimate clubs like Hi Fi and Comodore- and propellent of the electronic culture, until 1997 Orange teamed with his partner DJ Buey in their Buenos Aires Frente Jungle project. Together they contrib-uted to the arise of a new tribe of drums and bass fans. His communicator role saw him as a founding member of buenosaliens.com, a specialized website that has been uninterruptedly tracking the pulse of local dance culture during the last 8 years. In search of new experiencies, Orange has nourished his DJ and pro-ducer career at the same time. The new millennium saw him go on his first international tour through the US coast to coast. In the end of 2001 he edited his only record up to now, the ¿Quién hace tu vida tan Naranja? EP (tr: Who makes your live so Orange?). Since then his production tasks have kept him busy between remixes and edits that he uses to surprise his audience each week during his DJ sets. He also teamed up with popular rock artists and bands such as Erica García, Iván Noble, Los Pericos and Miranda! as a performer and remixer. His most popular achievements in that field so far have been Atomicum included in Babasónicos Jessico Megamix edition; Tómalo con calma for Eterna Inocencia; and his Altar drum and bass mix for local pop star Gustavo Cerati, included in his double album Reversiones/Siempre es hoy. He also shared stage with the former Soda Stereo leader in the Gran Rex Theatre. Undoubtfully it was his combination of fidelity, work and talent, plus the street attitude, what allowed him to introduce the "+160 Drum & Bass Suite" proposal in august 2002. He hadnt turn up his first quarter-century when Orange could finally earn his pairs respect through a weekly cult venue that not only helped developing the drum and bass culture but also changed peoples habits: Go dancing on a Tuesday? Why not? For the 3rd anniversary celebration he invited one of the most relevant artists of the genre, DJ Marky, and with +160 bring to Argentina artist like D-Bridge (Bad Company UK), Ink, Shy Fx, Dj. Silver, TC and many others. Orange has shared the dj booth with global renowned drum and bass artists, among them the most important referents from UK -Goldie, Roni Size, Grooverider and Bryan Gee- and Brazil -Marky, Patife and XRS-. He has also played in all the Creamfields Buenos Aires editions. After many radio experiences in 2004 Orange started his show in Metrodance 95.1 FM, joining the staff with his Late Night set every Sunday midnight. Today he continues as a curator and resident dj of his "+160 D&B Suite". Sources[edit]http://djorange.com/ 201.250.32.184 00:39, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

South Florida star Quaterback Matt Grothe arrested Apr 30, 2007 09:36 PM South Florida's star Sophomore quaterback Matt Grothe was arrested for selling alcohol to an 18 year old on April 19th. The 18 year old received two beers from Grothe and was currently working with Florida's Division of Alcohol and Beverages. This incident will make Matt Grothe just face a misdemeanor charge, but that doesn't mean that this is a good thing for Grothe. In my opinion, Matt Grothe made a bad example of the University of South Florida and for that should be punished. Note: Grothe's court date will be set for next month.
Matt Grothe in his freshman season for the Bulls threw for 2,576 yards and 15 touchdowns. Grothe also ran for 622 yards and 9 touchdowns. Matt Grothe earned Big East rookie of the year honors this past year.

IBIS Structure[edit]The land surface module is based on the land surface transfer model (LSX) package of Thompson and Pollard [1995a,b], and simulates the energy, water, carbon, and momentum balance of the soil-vegetation-atmosphere system. The model represents two vegetation canopies (e.g., trees versus shrubs and grasses), eight soil layers, and three layers of snow (when required). The solar radiative transfer scheme of IBIS-2 has been simplified in comparison with LSX and IBIS-1; sunlit and shaded fractions of the canopies are no longer treated separately. The model now follows the approach of Sellers et al. [1986] and Bonan [1995]. Infrared radiation is simulated as if each vegetation layer is a semitransparent plane; canopy emissivity depends on foliage density. Other difference between IBIS-2 and IBIS-1 and LSX, is that IBIS-2 uses an empirical linear function of wind speed to estimate turbulent transfer between the soil surface and the lower vegetation canopy, and IBIS-1 and LSX use a logarithmic wind profile. The total evapotranspiration from the land surface is treated as the sum of three water vapor fluxes: avaporation from the soil surface, evaporation of water intercepted by vegetation canopies, and canopy transpiration. IBIS simulates the variations of heat and moisture in the soil. The eight layers are described in terms of soil temperature, volumetric water content and ice content [Pollard and Thompson, 1995; Foley et al. 1996]. All the process occurring in the soil are influenced by the soil texture and amount of organic matter within the soil. One difference from the physiological processes in previous version of the model is that IBIS-1 calculates the maximum Rubisco carboxylation capacity (Vm) by optimizing the net assimilation of carbon by the leaf [Haxeltine and Prentice, 1996]. IBIS-2 prescribes constant values of Vm for the plant functional typed (PFT). To scale photosynthesis and transpiration from the leaf level to canopy level, IBIS-2 assumes that the net photosynthesis within the canopy is proportional to the APAR within it.
Soil Biogeochemistry[edit]In the original version of IBIS [Foley et al. 1996] there was no explicit belowground biogeochemistry model to complete flow of carbon between the vegetation, detritus, and soil organic matter pools. IBIS-2 includes a new soil biogeochemistry module [Kucharik et al., submitted manuscript, 1999]. Sources[edit]Kucharik, C. J., J. A. Foley, C. Delire, V. A. Fisher, M. T. Coe, J. D. Lenters, C. The hemp plant, like the hop, which is of the same natural order, Cannabinaceæ, is dioecious, i.e. the male and female flowers are borne on separate plants. The female plant grows to a greater height than the male, and its foliage is darker and more luxuriant, but the plant takes from five to six weeks longer to ripen. When the male plants are ripe they are pulled, put up into bundles, and steeped in a similar manner to flax, but the female plants are allowed to remain until the seed is perfectly ripe. They are then pulled, and after the seed has been removed are retted in the ordinary way. The seed is also a value product; the finest is kept for sowing, a large quantity is sold for food, while the remainder is sent to the oil mills to be crushed. The extracted oil is used in the manufacture of soap, paint, plastics and even fuel oil, while the solid remains, known as oil-cake, are valuable as a food for cattle as well as humans in the form of flour. The leaves of hemp have five to seven leaflets, the form of which is lanceolate-acuminate, with a serrate margin. The loose panicles of male flowers, and the short spikes of female flowers, arise from the axils of the upper leaves. The height of the plant varies greatly with season, soil and manuring; in some districts it varies from 3 to 8 ft., but in the Piedmont province it is not unusual to see them from 8 to 16 ft. in height, whilst a variety (Cannabis setiva, variety gigantea) has produced specimens over 17 ft. in height. All cultivated hemp belongs to the same species, Cannabis sativa; the special varieties such as Cannabis indica, Cannabis chinensis, &c., owe their differences to climate and soil, and they lose many of their peculiarities when cultivated in temperate regions. Rumphius (in the 17th century) had noticed these differences between Indian and European hemp. Wild hemp still grows on the banks of the lower Ural, and the Volga, near the Caspian Sea. It extends to Persia, the Altai range and northern and western China. The authors of the Pharmacographia say: -- "It is found in Kashmir and in the Himálaya, growing 10 to 12 ft. high, and thriving vigorously at an elevation of 6000 to 10,000 ft." Wild hemp is, however, of very little use as a fibre producer, although a drug is obtained from it. It would appear that the native country of the hemp plant is in some part of temperate Asia, probably near the Caspian Sea. It spread westward throughout Europe, and southward through the Indian peninsula.
The very finest hemp is very similar to flax, and in many cases the two fibres are mixed in the same material. The hemp fibre has always been valuable for the rope industry, and it was at one time very extensively used in the production of yarns for the manufacture of sail cloth, sheeting, covers, bagging, sacking, &c. Much of the finer quality is still made into cloth, but almost all the coarser quality finds its way into ropes and similar material. Hemp is grown for three products -- (1) the fibre of its stem; (2) the resinous secretion which is developed in hot countries upon its leaves and flowering heads; (3) its oily seeds. Hemp has been employed for its fibre from ancient times. Herodotus (iv. 74) mentions the wild and cultivated hemp of Scythia, and describes the hempen garments made by the Thracians as equal to linen in fineness. Hesychius says the Thracian women made sheets of hemp. Moschion (about 200 B.C.) records the use of hempen ropes for rigging the ship "Syracusia" built for Hiero II. The hemp plant has been cultivated in northern India from a considerable antiquity for its fibre. The Anglo-Saxons were well acquainted with the mode of preparing hemp. Hempen cloth became common in central and southern Europe in the 13th century. Uses Clothing/Textiles: Hemp makes a very good strong and soft cloth! There are several different feels and types of hemp cloth. There are hemp blends as well with fibres like organic cotton and silk to name just a few. If you were to imagine your bedroom as an example; You could make your sheets from hemp and silk cloth! They will keep you warm in winter and cool in summer! Your walls could be papered with hemp wallpaper! You pillow, stuffed with soft hemp hurds and hemp seed shells would have a hemp silk cover. Your bed made from hemp press board with a hemp futon as a mattress. Your carpet, woven hemp fibres. The drapes, died hemp and organic cotton! Your clothes, all pure hemp, hemp silk and hemp and organic cotton mixes, wool and hemp for your socks and hemp and silk for your underwear! Your world can be made of hemp! Paper: Hemp paper is the most wonderful thing. It is of a higher quality then tree paper so it has an expensive feel to it. Because no acids are needed to process the hemp into paper, hemp paper will not yellow soon after printing. It lasts thousands of years rather then a few decades for tree paper. It can be recycled many times over, 7 I have heard as opposed to 3 for tree paper. It looks and feels great. The best thing about hemp paper is that we no longer need to cut down trees for pulp, we can and should be using hemp! Would you like to see the paper industry switch to hemp pulp instead of trees? Want to order some hemp paper? Food: Ah hemp food. Well imagine the entire dairy, pasta, soup, sauce, meat, and snack section of your supermarket. All of those things can be made from hemp seeds or can substituted by hemp seeds! Really, you can get any protein, any carbohydrate and any mix of the two from hemp seeds. Building Materials: Here's where it gets interesting. Building materials. Press board, wood substitute, concrete. Yes, lighter and stronger concrete. Anything that is required to make a house except the windows can be made from hemp! The perfect construction would be a post and beam type house with hemp bales for insolation and hemp press board for interior walls. This would be a brilliant construction! The walls would be R56 or better and has a really nice look to the, really thick! I will try to round up some photo's to post as well as some links in the near future. Plastics: Well, amazing as it may seem, you can make plastic from hemp hurd. So imagine the possibilities! Car bodies, like Henry Ford made in the 1940's. All the way to soothers for babies. As well as it being completely non-toxic it would be edible, so if we use it for food packaging, you could eat it afterwards! Petrochemicals: Oils for paints, fuels for our cars, busses, trains and plains! So much stuff, anything that carbon based petrochemicals can be refined into can be made from hemp! ANYTHING! Why are we not doing this. Any country in the world could support their carbon fuel needs with hemp and we wouldn't have to ship fuel around the planet as well as it wouldn't increase the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere! The hemp would actually reduce the CO2! Energy: With hemp pyrolysis reactors, we can power our cities with hemp as well. The concept isn't too far from nuclear energy except the waste is fertilizer not deadly for billions of years! Sources[edit]www.chii.ca it's under About Hemp

There is no one common definition of Web 2.0 and neither is there standardized interpretation of the concepts involved. This section lays out the concepts involved in understanding of the Web 2.0 basics. Version-numbers commonly designate software upgrades on the same lines, the phrase "Web 2.0" hints at an improved form of the World Wide Web; and advocates suggest that technology such as weblogs, social bookmarking, wikis, podcasts, RSS feeds (and other forms of many-to-many publishing), social software, Web APIs, Web standards and online Web services imply a significant change in web usage. Among others, the phrase "Web 2.0" can also refer to one or more of the following: • The transition of Web sites from isolated information silos to sources of content and functionality, thus becoming computing platforms serving web applications to end-users • A social phenomenon embracing an approach to generating and distributing Web content itself, characterized by open communication, decentralization of authority, freedom to share and re-use, and "the market as a conversation" • Enhanced organization and categorization of content, emphasizing deep linking and cross referencing. • A rise or fall in the economic value of the Web, possibly surpassing the impact of the dot-com boom of the late 1990s Web 2.0 is all of the above and everything as explained in the basics below. 1. The Web is a Platform - Web 2.0 doesn't have a hard boundary, but rather, a core around which services to users are delivered. This concept visualizes and equates the Web to a platform around which user can get services and data. 2. Harnessing Collective Intelligence - As users add new content, and new sites, it is bound in to the structure of the web by other users discovering the content and linking to it. Similar to the concept of synapses forming in the brain, with associations becoming stronger through repetition or intensity, the web of connections grows organically as an output of the collective activity of all web users. A common example for this is Wikipedia.com, an online encyclopedia based on the notion that an entry can be added by any web user, and edited by any other. This also leads to a very common deduction Network effects from user contributions are the key to market dominance in the Web 2.0 era. 3. The Web is a Database – The web is a repository of data that resides in the static sites or dynamic sites that generate data. In a loose context the web can be viewed as a database.
5. Software Above the Level of a Single Device - Web 2.0 is no longer limited to the PC platform, the web can be accessed over and much beyond the PC, technology now makes it available on Mobile, PDA and other such devices. 6. Rich User Experiences – This concept is based on the fact that network bandwidth is ubiquitous and cheap. Technologies exist to create far richer User Interfaces which in turn increase the user experience and usability of web based applications.

The Communist Club or "C.C." is an assembly of all Communist-Atheist in a pitircal school, neighborhood, or city. The C.C. is by two heads and is unknown. The C.C. to the public are just like any other organized gang. They are notorious for graffiti and continually supporting any kind of mayhem possible. Assumable their main difference is their beliefs and philosophic views, on life, politics, human nature, and philosophy it’s self. The "ultimate hypocrites" they have been called. C.C. is only an acronym for "communist club" in order start a division of the C.C. one must add the first letter of their city. Example if one lived in Greenwood, the collaboration of Communist-Atheist would be called the G.C.C. Sources[edit]Manfred861 06:34, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Characteristics- Brown-gray fur above its neck and shoulders, and reddish-brown fur around its neck and shoulders. It has Big eyes a puffy tail and a white underside. Life Cycle- The mating season for the eastern cottontail is between February and September. During this season the female builds a nest in the ground and lines it with soft materials. About a month after mating the female gives birth to between 1-9 young. The male cottontails often fight with each other during mating season. The male and female perform a mating dance where the male will chase the female. Eventually the female stops, faces the male and boxes at him with her front paws and they both leap in the air.
Diet- The eastern cottontail is an Herbivore. It eats plants, fruits, and vegetables. Behavior- The eastern cottontail is solitary and territorial. They are nocturnal, can leap from 10-15 feet and can run up to 15 miles per hour.

The beaver is North America’s biggest rodent. Adults can be as long as four feet and as heavy as sixty pounds. The beaver has webbed hind feet as well as a level, hefty tail. The beaver’s nose and ears close and a special membrane covers its eyes when the beaver is under water. The beaver makes its fur water-resistant by covering itself with castoreum, an oily emission from its scent glands. Beavers reside close to streams, rivers, small lakes, marshes, and ponds. They build homes of mud and sticks on shores. Beaver dams are dome shaped, and also can be as high as ten feet tall. The beaver’s diet is made up of tree bark and cambium mostly. They also eat roots and buds and other water plants. Beavers mate for life. However, if one mate dies, the other beaver will look for another mate. They mate when they are nearly three years old. Beavers life in groups, or colonies. Colonies are made up of males and females and their offspring. Beavers have both a positive and negative effect on the environment. When they create dams, it produces a wetland environment for other species. These wetlands can also help slow erosion, raise water level and helps distil the water.

The American Badgers lives in areas such as the western United States and southern Canada. They prefer spacious areas with enough soil to dig in. The badger can be grey or brown in color with black and white “badge like” marks on their heads. The American Badger is a stocky, short animal with a wide, flattened head. It has a pointed muzzle and long curved claws on its front feet. The American Badger is a carnivore that feeds on small mammals, ground nesting birds and their eggs, reptiles, and insects. They gather most of their prey by digging. Badgers have many dens in the area that they live in and usually will leave their old dens which will then be occupied by other animals. After a short time the badger will return to its old dens to capture the new homeowners. Badgers put on a large sum of body fat in the summer which means it weighs the greatest at the onset of the cold season. Badgers can weigh up to 37lbs., all the body fat they gain in the summer helps them survive the winter months as they hibernate beneath the ground. Mating for the badgers occurs in late summer or early autumn. The birth usually happens in March or April. A small litter of, one to five, cubs is born in the den, their eyes will open at four weeks old. The badger is a nocturnal animal and does not have many enemies. The only true predator of the animal is the human. Badgers have a life span of eleven to thirteen years. Sources[edit]www.eNature.com 206.176.115.120 14:02, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In 2005 DJ Kid made the hard decision to leave Scotland and set his studio up in England; Surrey. This re-location is so that he can become more involved in the London scene as well as promoting his new record label; Restless Natives Records, which he began in 2004. Although now residing in England DJ Kid still frequently visits his homeland and reguarly puts on drum and bass evenings in Scottish clubs such as Managa, where DJ Kid is a resident DJ. File:DJKidManga.jpg However, recently DJ Kid has taken a step back from the decks for a while to concentrate on promoting and managing his record label which he claims is "simply a platform for up & coming producers to showcase their talents and step up the ladder as quickly as possible" and is admant that should any other label be interested in one of his artists he would not hesitate to let them go on to bigger and better things. Restless Natives Records has had, so far, five major releases and includes DJ's such as DJ Kryptik, Dc Breaks and DJ Samurai. The Broken String Theory.(GUT) The Broken String Theory deals with multi strings that conform to make a single string. How is this possible? This is possible due to the gravity in each string universe. As a string moves and viberates it releases energy in the form of the 4 fundenmental force that we see today. Gravity causes the string to spilt and each smaller peice of the string forms each forces that is in our know universe. This can be applied to the force that we see today.
