The result was Withdrawn by nominator. While a page move to South Republican State Wildlife Area may be necessary, that is not a matter for Afd. (non-admin closure) Shawn in Montreal (talk) 21:51, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

The park was closed in 2008 and is no longer a state park. It is dissolved as a state park. Jeffrey Beall (talk) 13:46, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- Keep. If that's the case, the article should simply be updated to reflect the park's closing. State parks would be notable under WP:GEOLAND, regardless of whether it's a current or former park. Indeed, GEOLAND links to WP:NOTTEMPORARY, in cases like of abandoned places -- and that would apply in this case here too. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 03:55, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

- Keep per WP:GEOLAND. The park did not close down in 2008, if I read the sources correctly. NYT reported in May 2010 that the park was still running to some extend, and this source says the park became part of South Republican State Wildlife Area in late 2011. - in which case , Jeffrey, you could perhaps redirect to South Republican State Wildlife Area, retaining the content on its history as Bonny Lake State Park, and expanding for its current role, per WP:PRESERVE. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 14:07, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, this is helpful, Jeffrey Beall (talk) 14:43, 24 July 2016 (UTC).
- @Denverjeffrey: if you do wish to withdraw this, just say so here. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 16:31, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
- If that's your recommendation, I am happy to accept it. Thanks, Jeffrey Beall (talk) 19:21, 24 July 2016 (UTC).
