Almost all references listed for this article right now lead to their website with four of them repeating the same link. ☭Pickbothmanlol☭ 00:37, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - First, the article needs reliable sources that are independent of the subject to establish notability. I can find none on this particular Church. Second, if such sources do exist and can be provided, we would need to disambiguate (a google search shows multiple churches with this name... in multiple denominations. After a quick scan of the hits, some of them seem far more notable than this one.) Blueboar (talk) 14:46, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete with comments - When I was researching List of places of worship in Brighton and Hove, for which I used a wide range of online and offline sources, I could find no independent sources about CCK. It was one of the very few in that list for which I had to cite the church's own website. The church wasn't established very long ago, and I don't think notability has been established at the moment. (I should add that a new, updated edition of Carder's Encyclopaedia of Brighton and Hove—the best starting point for research on anything to do with the city—will be published next year, replacing the 20-year-old first edition. If it contains substantial info on CCK, a properly referenced new version of this article could perhaps be kept.) Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 18:19, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose deletion I oppose deletion. the article do meet the notability criteria. enough references are available on google....... please consider changing the template to {{improve}} and {{wikify}}...
name change is inevitable as many churches are called Church of Christ the King. It should be renamed to Church of Christ the King, Brighton. Prince Waters (talk page) 17:23, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: Looking at the google search pointed to, once you get beyond the Church's own website and the Wikipedia article, you quickly get into on-line directaries with little more than a passing reference, non-reliable sources and references to other Churches by the same name. If anything, the google search supports the idea that this church isn't notable. Blueboar (talk) 17:25, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
