The umbrella organisations such as these exist but tend not to attract the depth of coverage needed here. I am inclined to think that it would be better to focus on an article about the Development Trust phenonenon, for which such associations and projects provide examples (probably bedded in the Development trust article), but even that would need strong references to published assessments which I am struggling to find.
