wiki isn't for everyone, this person is of limited note and less educational value and totally WP:RS uncited, delete delete delete. Off2riorob (talk) 23:26, 31 December 2010 (UTC) Off2riorob (talk) 23:26, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete All the reliable sources I could find describe Dragan Antic as a 1990s Serbian newspaper editor at Politika, a discredited propagandist who backed the dictator Slobodan Milošević, not a gold record winning musical performer. Some of the sources describe that editor Antic in great depth, and perhaps he's notable. Is this article a hoax or an attempted whitewash? Or are there two people with the same name? Or were they two different careers by the same person? Cullen328 (talk) 01:05, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- A Google image search finds a number of record sleeves, so it does look as if the singer by this name is genuine. (No idea on notability though). -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:06, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- "He recorded over 50 EP and LP records and he was awarded with 3 golden and 8 silver records. As a very popular entertainer he had over 3500 concerts around the world but most in Europe and fmr. USSR."
Sure sounds notable, can we confirm this somehow? (His political views are completely irrelevant here, mind you). --DIREKTOR (TALK) 19:44, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply] - Comment. I'm sure that the subject of this article and the journalist are different people. The journalist's full name is Hadji (or Hadzi) Dragan Antic, and none of the sources that I can find about him mention his having been a pop star. - Thanks for the comments. If we could cite some of the claims he would be notable and there are pictures of quite a few album covers on google, Clearly in need of an expert on 70s Yugoslavian pop music? Off2riorob (talk) 20:52, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
