I would say that this person is only notable for one event (see WP:BLP1E), but even that event seems to have turned into a non-event. There is no reason for Wikipedia to have articles about non-notable minors. This can be easily recreated if something new turns up (see WP:NOTNEWS) Delicious carbuncle (talk) 20:20, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge with the balloon incident page Michaelh2001 (talk) 20:23, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge with Colorado balloon incident. It is a notable and unique event. 71.174.73.50 (talk)
- Delete. Very clearly WP:NOTNEWS. This is the latest incident of well-meaning editors putting articles on Wikipedia instead of working, in this case, wikinews:Homemade balloon carries 6-year-old boy away in Colorado. TJRC (talk) 20:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply as this event will probably be referenced many times in the future (by policymakers and those seeking information on if it is an urban legend or not), it should be kept. 71.174.73.50 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:27, 15 October 2009 (UTC).[reply]
- Merge it with Colorado 2009 balloon incident. --Matteh (talk) 20:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge with balloon incident article. Unfortunate child is notable only for this tragedy. Story is breaking news; but, the incident is of a kind likely to remain notable. In any case, should notability wane, a new AfD for the incident article could always be undertaken. Xoloz (talk) 20:37, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
