Fictional character who does not meet the general notability guidelines. While there is minor mention of the character in relation to the series, in-depth coverage of the character in reliable sources is lacking. He is also on two "top villains" lists (1 2) but as said before, notability requires in-depth coverage and more than just appearances on a list or in discussion of the main series. - Delete The seven Homunculi he is in charge of participate in episodes far more often and in major roles than him, and they don't have individual pages. Any sourcing for him can be integrated into his entry in the List of Fullmetal Alchemist characters. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:02, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
Delete orRedirect to List of Fullmetal Alchemist characters - Father. He is not notable enough to be in his own article outside of a general character list. ZettaComposer (talk) 13:08, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- Switched to redirect to Father entry on character list. I agree with the IP below.ZettaComposer (talk) 14:43, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- Redirect to the character list. There is a entry for the character making it a logical location.--67.68.163.254 (talk) 02:01, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
- Delete Reviews from third party sources are key when it comes to characters which this one lacks. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:36, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
- By delete do you mean that you don't believe that this should be an article of are you against a redirect to character's secfIon on the character article and if so Why?--67.68.163.254 (talk) 23:06, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
- No I wouldn't recommend a redirect as "father" is way too broad. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:58, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- Father may be broad but I can't imagine what else someone typing Father (Fullmetal Alchemist) would be looking for since no other character in the series is called Father. Granted Edward Elric may have referred to his dad as his father on a few occasions though the idea that people looking for him would type Father (Fullmetal Alchemist) is a stretch.--67.68.163.254 (talk) 14:32, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
