Delete: Federal Front was an alliance proposed by K. Chandrasekhar Rao for 2019 Indian general election. But this proposed alliance was not materialized. [1] As the front was not formed, the article is not necessary and it has no importance to have a separate article. So items of information regarding it are already added in Third Front (India). The article falls under WP:SPECULATION. I hope the administrators will take proper decision based on policies. XYZ 250706 (talk) 05:05, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Keep the fact that the proposed alliance didn't materialize doesn't necessarily means the subject isn't notable. What matters here is that the proposed alliance was the subject of significant coverage and/or discussion in secondary and reliable media outlets. I've found these 3 pieces covering Federal Front in-depth (1, 2, and 3) and added them to the article. AmshitBalcon (talk) 15:31, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

- Comment - @Chennai Super Kings Lover: So if this article falls under the WP:Speculation, then according to this reasoning, this article covering the proposed Federalization of Yemen should be deleted too? AmshitBalcon (talk) 15:49, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- @AmshitBalcon If we (or other editors) have done mistake there (according to you), we need not to replicate the mistake here also. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:23, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- @AmshitBalcon@Chennai Super Kings Lover Federalization of Yemen is far more notable than speculative Federal Front. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:25, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Besides some items of information of Federal Front are already added in Third Front (India). XYZ 250706 (talk) 04:51, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @AmshitBalcon The subject of the article generally is not regarded as an indicator of its notability according to Wikipedia. XYZ 250706 (talk) 07:41, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @XYZ 250706: It is true that the topic of an article is often not an indicator of its notability. Sources with significant coverage of that subject, however, are generally a good indicator of notability. Would you please comment on the three sources I've found and attached above? Would appreciate your take on those sources, it would enrich our discussion and clarify the matter. AmshitBalcon (talk) 18:18, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @AmshitBalcon All of the sources you gave do not say about federal front for 2019 election. Two of them were published in 2022 and one in 2012. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:29, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @XYZ 250706: Some subjects take time to gain coverage, while others never attract media attention at any scale. Would you agree that the date of those sources do not matter as long as Federal Front is talked about? AmshitBalcon (talk) 18:34, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @AmshitBalcon Federal Front must not have a separate article. Some of items of information of this article are already merged in Third Front (India). Date matters as this federal front is for KCR's plan of forming regional party's alliance for 2019 election. All of the sources you gave are speculative in nature. Wikipedia should not have speculation in any way. XYZ 250706 (talk) 04:49, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Salvio giuliano 17:07, 19 March 2023 (UTC)- Keep Well-sourced article. Trying to erase memory of it in Wikipedia because it never happened seems odd. I find plenty of sourcing about the coalition. Oaktree b (talk) 01:06, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Sources about speculative content is not good. Only talks for a federal front or something like that does not need separate article. There are many examples of unaccomplished alliance in all over world. We need not to have separate articles for it because there will be infinite articles for them. The memory is not erased because some of items of information of this article are already merged in Third Front (India). XYZ 250706 (talk) 15:25, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- XYZ 250706, please don't put half your words in bold face. It makes it very difficult to read what you say properly. Phil Bridger (talk) 22:04, 20 March 2023 (UTC)

- Federal front has no importance to have a separate article. It is totally speculative. XYZ 250706 (talk) 03:42, 22 March 2023 (UTC)

KCR had mooted the idea of a federal front before the general elections in 2019. He flew from one state to another to discuss the idea with regional satraps like MK Stalin of DMK, Banerjee, HD Deve Gowda of the JD(S) and Naveen Patnaik of the BJD. However, the proposed front could not take off.
