Hamza Abo$$ (Artist)
This biography of a living person does not establish musical notability or general notability. Footnotes are required in a biography of a living person. This article has no footnotes, only 11 endnotes. After being Proposed for Deletion, the deletion proposal was removed by the author, which is permitted. The endnotes appear to be all press releases, many of them labeled as press releases, others recognizable by the exuberant tone that is not that of professional critics.

There isn't any significant secondary coverage, either in-line, whether it is supposed to be, or at the bottom. Robert McClenon (talk) 07:43, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

This biography of a living person does establish musical notability or general notability. Two out of the ten endnotes are are published via the Associated Press. This is considered reliable regardless of if it was apart of a mass syndication or not. The Associated Press is a news agency. There is consensus that the Associated Press is generally reliable. Syndicated reports from the Associated Press that are published in other sources are also considered generally reliable. - The rule on whether Associated Press bestows notability on the subject refers to original articles written by their journalists, and not to pre-written press releases that they merely distribute, which is the case for this rapper. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 12:33, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Delete - Good luck to dude as he gets started, but Wikipedia is not a promotional service. The nominator is correct on how all of the rapper's media coverage is reprinted press releases from himself or his management. Wikipedia requires professional and independent journalistic coverage, and such authors would not call him a genius all the time. He seems to have a knack for finding media companies that will reprint his own promotional statements, but he does not get an article here until the professionals notice. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 12:30, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Delete Agreed, Mr. Aboss isn't notable at this point, based on the source analysis. Best of luck to him. Oaktree b (talk) 13:53, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- Delete, preferably speedily, per the above and this article's creation by a sockpuppet of a UPE account. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sjengul. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 21:13, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
- This will almost certainly be deleted, but if by some chance it is kept we should get rid of the misleading disambiguator from the title. There is no other article with the title "Hamza Abo$$" and he's a musician, not an artist. Phil Bridger (talk) 09:39, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
