The result was delete. Verifiability concern is well-founded. Sjakkalle (Check!) 18:04, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Indianapolis Heights does not exist (that is, not in the location shown in the article). The only references are those cited in the infobox, and they do not support the claims. A Google search did find a small number of hits on "Indianapolis Heights", but most of them are for a subdivision on the west side of Indianapolis; none are for this location in Hamilton County. Keep Note that the article says that it was formerly called "Millersburg". Click on the coordinates and select ACME Mapper for the site, and you'll be taken to USGS topographical maps calling the settlement "Millersburg". Go to the GNIS database, and you can reach an entry for Millersburg in Hamilton County. Millersburg appears on page 784 of a 1915 history of Hamilton County. Millersburg was platted at some point; see the county government's documentation on a random parcel in the community. As far as I can tell, someone's made up a fake name for what's very definitely a real place with its own history and identity. Nyttend backup (talk) 20:35, 12 February 2014 (UTC)- Delete While it's true that there is a Millersburg at that location, I can't find anything online that says the Millersburg area is now known as Indianapolis Heights. At the very least the name of the article would need to be renamed to something like Millersburg, Hamilton County, Indiana (there's already a town in northern Indiana named Millersburg, Indiana. Moreover, nothing in this article has a citation, and I suspect much of it is just made up. For instance, the History section states that it was settled in 1988 and named after Reggie Miller. However, Millersburg has been in existence since prior to 1915 according to the History of Hamilton County, Indiana: her people, industries and institutions, Volume 1 page 784. It's also shown on a 1960 map of Hamilton County, so it was neither founded in 1988 nor named after Reggie Miller. Indyguy (talk) 03:24, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Delete. An appropriate article can be written on this subject, but Indyguy makes a good point: we can't trust anything currently in this page. WP:TNT deletion and let's start over. Nyttend (talk) 01:26, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
