Completely unnotable. Director won minor awards at minor festivals. Only source is imdb. Created by SP promotional account ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 01:12, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

- Canada International Film Festival is not a minor festival. It is a major festival significant enough to warrant a Wikipedia profile at Canada International Film Festival . — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebigs2update (talk • contribs) 20:27, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- The Canada International Film Festival, "founded by Las Vegas businessman Rick Weisner and now owned by Monty Lapica," is indeed a minor festival just as stated. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 01:18, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
If this film festival were indeed minor like one person claimed it was, then there would not be a Wikipedia page created for it. The mere fact that an undisputed Wikipedia profile exists for Canada International Film Festival is the untamperable evidence that it is a major film festival thus qualifying "Jake and Jasper: A Ferret Tale" as a necessary profile on Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebigs2update (talk • contribs) 23:05, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- Delete The film is not notable according to Gnews results, the Canadian festival and award is very minor. The Wikipedia article on the Houston festival was deleted for non-notability. And everyone is encouraged to read the 2013 Indiewire article in Canada International Film Festival about how questionable these festivals are. Part of a WP:Walled garden for Kasey Ryne Mazak-related films. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 14:51, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- In fact, I've created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Canada International Film Festival. I think enough is enoughShawn in Montreal (talk) 15:16, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. There are sources for its winning Best Short at the Nevada Film Festival, and I also found some additional references to use. It appears to have received coverage for being crowdfunded as well as for being the first of a series of films the director made in an attempt to improve the image of pet ferrets. I believe it squeaks by on GNG. Yngvadottir (talk) 18:18, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- I'll just point out that the Nevada Film Festival seems to be cited at http://www.indiewire.com/2013/01/an-iw-investigation-the-dark-underbelly-of-the-festival-circuit-part-2-241632/ as one of dubious festival ventures of Rick Weisner/Monty Lapica. - Delete the film was crowd-funded on IndieGogo, and the "awards" appear to all be suspect. I don't see coverage to meet WP:GNG. power~enwiki (π, ν) 20:20, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- Weak keep. The Vulture Hound article looks like a good source. I'm not familiar with Vulture Hound, but from what I can see, it seems like a WP:RS. I'm not sure it's enough, but it's a start. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:04, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. Other than small-festival logrolling, no sign at all of any real impact, notability, or public attention. --Calton | Talk 16:33, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- Delete - not quite enough coverage to satisfy WP:GNG. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 17:25, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
