Comment. I found a reference, but it appears that the Maryland Selected Reserve Force Medal is a proposed medal that was never officially authorized. Someone may want to compare the Maryland listings in Category:Awards and decorations of the United States National Guard with the official list of Maryland National Guard decorations at https://cupdf.com/document/maryland-military-department-regulation-672-1-awards-and-decorations.html. Delete - I'd enthusiastically entertain a discussion about notability if this commendation had been issued, or if there had been significant debate about the proposal to do so, or ultimate decision to not do so.
