Author apparently notable for one book only. Google search doesn't turn up any reviews for the book or any interviews for the author. Fails WP:GNG and WP:AUTHOR Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 14:17, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Just found the following in the New York Times [1].Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 14:57, 22 May 2011 (UTC) Half asleep here. Article concerned her co-author Kathleen Murray. Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 15:03, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]- Delete. Author of a non-notable book. Pburka (talk) 17:06, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. A one-book author can certainly be notable if there is substantial WP:RS about the book. Margaret Mitchell published only one book, but there are, uhm, tons of articles about it. Unfortunately, there is nothing to indicated that Melinda Anderson or her book satisfy WP:AUTHOR or WP:BK through WP:RS. Qworty (talk) 22:16, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, doesn't appear to meet WP:BK - only published work is a redlinked book that she collaborated with another on. Lankiveil (speak to me) 01:05, 29 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]
