Given that the European Trophy now has been disbanded and will be replaced by the IIHF-organized tournament Champions Hockey League, I no longer see the usefulness in keeping this article. Heymid (contribs) 21:29, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

- 20 Mule-Team Delete: Heck, I would have proposed it for deletion months ago had I known about it; the very notion is speculative and butts heads against WP:CRYSTAL, WP:SYNTH and WP:OR. Only one independent source proffered, and that source is a blog post about the ambitions of ONE team's owner. That may have once been suitable for inclusion in that team's article, but it never should've been a standalone article. Ravenswing 00:58, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. Ravenswing took the words right out of my mouth. Utterly pointless to write an article around one team that might join a competition someday. Resolute 04:20, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete - Hoping to join a now non-existing tournament does not create notability. Dolovis (talk) 14:49, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. Since the European Trophy is no longer being played under that name, this subject is no longer meaningful. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:48, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
