The result was delete. V != N. If there are not two sources then this is insufficiently notable for an article Spartaz Humbug! 04:19, 29 May 2011 (UTC) Closing amended after discussion on my talk page. There seems no doubt that there is a single source which meets V but inclusion depends on N and even the keep side acknowledge that there is currently a single source. By policy this is therefore a delete can be recreated/undeleted as soon as a second decent source if found. Spartaz Humbug! 02:01, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - There are a limited number of community radio licenses available in the UK. They are available only to non-profit organizations who satisfactorily demonstrate an ability to serve and represent a distinct community. In my opinion, this gives them a degree of inherent notability from the start. In the case of Radio Sandwell I believe they meet WP:BCAST anyway, because they have a significant potential audience - around a half-million, I estimate (which is larger than that of many commercial broadcasters who we do find notable) and they originate all of their own programming. Background note: At present we appear to have 97 articles about licensed community radio stations in the UK. As far as I can tell, only two of them have been to AfD before (Soundart Radio, NE1fm) and both were closed as keep. Thparkth (talk) 02:02, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- without prejudice WP:V content critieria requires "sources" and I don't see two independent sources listed. Unscintillating (talk) 23:08, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- You're right of course - but all the same, the government agency responsible for licensing radio stations is a pretty darn reliable source for verifying the existence of a radio station, though obviously not for much more than that. Thparkth (talk) 00:25, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
