The result was redirect to Santa Rosa City Schools. Per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. To the keep !voters, see WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS and WP:MERCY. (non-admin closure) Michaelzeng7 (talk) 01:45, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

most middle schools are not notable, and this one doesnt appear to be particularly notable. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 01:48, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. As an alternative to deleting this article, it could be redirected to the school district, Santa Rosa City Schools. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 08:34, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Santa Rosa City Schools per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. Subject has received passing mentions in multiple primary reliable sources, but it is debatable whether the subject has received significant coverage. Therefore, as the subject is part of a larger organization, a redirect to that organization would be a better option than deletion. If significant coverage can be found in the future, the article can be restored as a stand-alone article.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 21:02, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: If these schools http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Public_middle_schools_in_California can get their own articles, why can't this middle school article? I honestly don't understand the difference between this one and those. Also, this middle school is among the largest in Sonoma County, and a fairly notable public middle school.
- Comment: The nomination says: "most middle schools are not notable" - but there is no reference supporting this assertion.? XOttawahitech (talk) 20:00, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: Why remove an article that someone spent a lot of effort to add to Wikipedia? XOttawahitech (talk) 20:03, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect/merge per Eastmain and RightCowLeftCoast. There is nothing about this middle school that distinguishes it from hundreds of others. The usual outcome at AfD discussions, approaching consensus if not actual policy, has been to redirect such schools to the parent district. --MelanieN (talk) 22:44, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment from nominator. if not notable, Redirect to school district is the most common and useful procedure, where any salvageable facts may also be placed.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:04, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to its school district article. Article creatd in good faith but in ignorance of the requirements for notability. There is nothing that makes this middle school more notable than the thousands that we don't have articles about. If there are articles about non notable middle schools on Wikipedia it's because they have slipped through the net. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:07, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
