Negative WP:BLP based solely on primary sources. Looking for other sources gives no results in Google Books[1] or News Archives[2], and the only at first glance useful regular Google[3] result (a page from the NY Times) is in fact one of thousands of reproduced Government documents relating to Guantanamo, not a newspaper article or anything similar. Comment --- this is one of a series of {{afd}} and {{mfd}} of non notable or poorly sourced articles with BLP issues all created by Geo Swan that had been brought forward by a large number of good faith editors and that were mostly revamped to fix BLP issues or deleted because they were non notable. It is not my intent to challenge the good faith of nominators. I am willing to accept, at face value, that nominators think the flood of nominations comply with our policy. But I think WP:User pages is pretty clear, concerns over userspace pages, except for the most urgent, are supposed to be discussed with the contributor employing those pages first -- a step not followed here, and not followed in any of these recent nominations. :))No offence but there have been numerous attempts from numerous editors to discuss how to fix problems in your user space. As far as i can remember you often did not even reply to their friendly messages on your talk page or in other cases you have personally attack them. Geo Swan, this is an AfD, not an MfD, so your remark is not relevant to this discussion. And in general, you are well aware of the concerns over your userspace pages by now. - "Easily found"? You have found all kinds of references to Saifur Mansour, not to Saifullah Mansour or any of the redirects to that name you created. If he is indeed the same, and is commonly known as Saifur, then why did you create the article at the wrong name? User:Fram 08:18, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  - Several of these references make clear that Saifullah Mansur and Saif-ur Mansur, and various variations in transliteration, is the son of the famous anti-Soviet militia leader, Nasrullah Mansur. Notability is not inherited, but the references make clear that the son has independently established his own notability. Why did I use "Saifullah", rather than "Saif-ur", when "Saif-ur" now seems to be the more frequently used transliteration? Simple, it was the first transliteration I encountered.     - None of these references that indicate individual notability are about Saifullah, the sources using that version are all primary sources, and those should never have been the basis to create an article on in the first place. Fram (talk) 17:36, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep or merge - article is about a dead person, BLP issues are spurious since the facts in question are not libellous or likely to be challenged. No one is, for example, likely to challenge "The extrajudicial detention of a fifth Guantanamo captive, Ali Shah Mousavi, was justified, in part, because he had worked as a medic for the father, Nasrullah Mansour, when they resisted the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, during the 1980s."
