Synthesis and an unnecessary cross-categorisation. Significant RS coverage not found. For a comparative AfD, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Germany at major beauty pageants. K.e.coffman (talk) 19:35, 25 November 2017 (UTC)

Delete - per nom and provided precedent.Operator873CONNECT 04:18, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- After consideration of NewYorkActuary's presented arguments, I wish to strike my vote from this AfD. The inclusion of the article does more for the encyclopedia than it's absence. Operator873CONNECT 08:15, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Operator873, so is this a keep? gidonb (talk) 14:13, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yes it is a Keep. Operator873CONNECT 18:39, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. These types of articles are quite common. If this article were to be deleted, then why not France at major beauty pageants? And after that, do we delete France at the Olympics, followed by France at the Paralympics and France at the Deaflympics? And don't forget France at the FIFA World Cup and France at the Rugby World Cup. And then France at the Mediterranean Games, France at the European Road Championships, France at the UEFA European Championship and France at the European Athletics Championships. Of course, Serbia doesn't have this same full panoply of articles, but I trust the point is clear -- COUNTRY-at-EVENT articles are quite common and there is no reason why this one should be deleted.
What really needs to happen here is to use the article as it currently exists and expand it into a fuller discussion of pageantry in Serbia. This would create a nation-specific top-level article similar to the very many such articles that exist in other activities (e.g., the articles listed at Category:Baseball by country or Category:Association football in Europe by country).
One last point -- why are we using the Germany article as the precedent here? Philippines at major beauty pageants was nominated for deletion twice in the past year-and-a-half, and was "kept" both times. That seems to me to be the better precedent. NewYorkActuary (talk) 08:34, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

- Keep and move to Serbia at international beauty pageants. As NewYorkActuary correctly points out, we have a long range of such articles. For very valid reasons. There is no reason to discriminate against beauty pageants versus, for example, Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest. Replacing "major" with international will allow the listing also for representation at the minor contests. Current write-up and table can stay and hopefully will be expanded with another chapter and background on the participation in the major events. gidonb (talk) 04:29, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Keep – I still stand that it meets WP:LISTPURP. In previous discussions, North America1000 in his comment when the article Philippines at major beauty pageants was under AfD. He stated that it’s a “functional information source and navigational aid. Deletion would force readers to click through many various articles to find the information that is summarized in the article.”--Richie Campbell (talk) 15:55, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
