The result was keep. Nomination withdrawn. Additional context helped clear up lack of results. (non-admin closure) Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 20:32, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Fails WP:NALBUM. No indication in the course of searching that the album was notable on its own merit. WP:NOTINHERITED Etzedek24 (Would it kill ya to leave an edit summary?) 21:34, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

Redirect to Thelonious Monk - Criteria at WP:NALBUM not met. Zingarese talk · contribs 02:16, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Keep With Hobbes Goodyear's listed sources, the recording demonstrably meets WP:NALBUM. It will need serious cleanup and expansion, however. Zingarese talk · contribs 20:02, 15 July 2018 (UTC)- Keep. Finding refs is hampered because this material has been re-released under a variety of titles, and because much potentially valuable periodical and book coverage is not visible online. Still, there is enough to make the case: AllMusic review, New Yorker review by Richard Brody, an item on the 2017 re-release in Le Monde, a review in the French magazine Télérama, a review in The Independent, 8/10 rating from Scott Yanow in his book Bebop, a brief description from NPR of the concert, and a much lengthier description by the jazz producer and writer Raymond Horrocks, who attended the concert. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 03:24, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

- Keep: Clearly an article in need of expansion beyond a track list, not least to take account of its multiple editions (I have this as GNP9008, licensed from Vogue by GNP Crescendo in 1972 and unhelpfully entitled just "Thelonious Monk"). But noting especially the New Yorker item identified by Hobbes Goodyear ("Thelonious Monk’s first and, to my ears, greatest solo piano session"), I think there is enough for notability. - Withdrawing as keep. Appreciate the additional context from those more familiar with the subject. Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 20:32, 15 July 2018 (UTC)
