The result was Keep — Caknuck 02:10, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently non-notable rapper. Article attempts to assert notability by claiming his connexions with a notable record company, but it gives no independent sources. Nyttend 17:24, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. This article indicates that he has charted on the U.S. charts (verified by this Billboard search), satisfying criterion #2 of WP:MUSIC. I would appreciate though, if someone with a.) more knowledge of this artist, or b.) a subscription to Billboard's site would provide the complete chart history. - Comment What's really annoying is that my computer won't let me look at tons of pages, such as this one you provided; perhaps I have to have subscriptions that I don't have. Nyttend 17:58, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Neither of those links requires a subscription. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps•Review?) 21:26, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I can't even look at news stories online this afternoon. It must be my Internet connexion then. Nyttend 21:34, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- For the record, the news article says "The highest new entry on the [Hot 100 chart] belongs to Soulja Boy, whose Crank That (Soulja Boy) debuts at number 47.". Indubitable proof that this artist has charted on a major national chart. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps•Review?) 22:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. Reuters confirms that he has charted and that he is signed with an affiliate of Interscope Records. [1]. Capitalistroadster 02:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep He's charted, WP:MUSIC satisfied, though some better sources in the article itself would be a good idea. spazure (contribs) 04:01, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - the Billboard success definitely fulfills WP:MUSIC requirements. Does need to be fleshed out, though. Tony Fox (arf!) 05:03, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Soulja Boy is an amazing artist in my opinion. The least you can give him is a Wikipedia page. I mean come on show a little respect. He deserves a page. Tavian Washington— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tavian151 (talk • contribs) — Tavian151 (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.
- Keep - I say keep, not only has he charted, you can download songs of his as ringtones onto many cellphones. Infinitejpower 18:47, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
