On this face of it this is a highly detailed, very well sourced article. However once you get into the nit-gritty it's not sourced at all (not at wikipedia standards). All of the sources are either self-published, non-notable blogs or directory lists. There are a couple of sources that might be considered reliable but the coverage of the subject is trivial. - Delete - I can't find any significant coverage in reliable sources to show that this person meets the requirements of WP:BIO. This is the closest to a reliable source listed in the article, but it makes no mention of this person. Smartse (talk) 10:54, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - concur with the above. Coverage seems trivial and he appears to fail WP:CREATIVE --Errant Tmorton166(Talk) 15:32, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- I made some deletions of paras and lines hard to back up with material from the Web but also added a few references. Only a few, yes, but hope those will help the article avoid your eagerness to delete it. By the way, the person is mentioned in this source Smartse brought up. Thanks. --Warphoto (talk) 13:57, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Which appears to be trivial coverage in a blog. --Cameron Scott (talk) 14:57, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Also are you connected to the subject, your userpage indicates this is the case. --Cameron Scott (talk) 08:14, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Don't Delete - Reorganized the article, basically moving the most significant points about the person to the opening six paragraphs, so to qualify him for inclusion, as per WP:CREATIVE, vis a vis the Philippine literary scene. Likewise deleted a significant number of lines that may be irrelevant for encyclopedic inclusion. Thank you. --Bestlaugh (talk) 08:05, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Where are the reliable sources? We can't construct a house without bricks and we cannot make a BLP article without them. --Cameron Scott (talk) 08:07, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a newbie when it comes to Wikipedia commenting but here's my two cents. As someone who has met the subject of the article, I can certainly vouch for the fact that this article is essentially a vanity Wikipedia article that is updated and maintained by the subject. While he is a poet, as far as I know, he is not a notable one as most of his work is self-published online and hasn't received major awards for his poems. In light of all of this, I do agree that this article should be deleted. I mean who cares about his throat operation, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.50.156.20 (talk) 11:17, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: does not appear to meet the relevant WP:BIO criteria. -- Chronulator (talk) 07:17, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
