  • Image:Chacha search.gif (history · last edit) from [9] The linking agreement on the website states:
"ChaCha grants to you a terminable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to ... use the 'Logos' (as defined below) solely for the purpose of establishing the Link... on your website. As used in this Agreement, the term 'Link' shall mean a hyperlink located on your website which shall connect the user to the Site, and which shall be implemented by you solely in accordance with this Agreement. The term 'Logos' shall mean the Search Boxes and Badges found on the 'Link to Us' page of the Site, which shall accompany the Link on your website."
Defined below that in their Linking Guidelines it states, among other specifics,:
o You may use only the Logos in the specific format provided by ChaCha on the "Link to Us" page of the Site.
o The Link must redirect the user to the Site homepage, www.chacha.com, when the user clicks on the Link.
o The Logos may not appear on any pages of any websites that include content that could be construed as distasteful, offensive or controversial, and should contain only content that is appropriate for all age groups.
o You may not transfer, assign, sell, reproduce, distribute or otherwise exploit the Logos or the Link.
The image does not link to the Site homepage. Wikipedia is not censored and thus may not be appropriate for all ages. Additionally, many mirror sites exist that could pick up the article in which this image is used and we can neither control nor monitor the content of such sites. I believe that would also fall under "transfer". LaraLoveT/C 03:33, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
