SCV for 2010-04-04 Edit

  • This one does appear to be just a machine translation from de.wiki as claimed in the References section of the article, but the close correspondence leads me to believe that de.wiki's article may be in trouble as a close paraphrase of the source. Can someone else take a second look at this? VernoWhitney (talk) 14:33, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • No copyright concern. Material PD or appropriately licensed for use. But this one merited the careful attention it got. It was, if nothing else, clear plagiarism. While "sweat of the brow" is not covered by copyright laws, there is a moral dimension here that Wikipedia:Plagiarism addresses, and the changes made to the article have helped address that. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:27, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
User:Bardman's contributions
[edit]

I found the following instances of copying with the Contribution Surveyor. I don't think a CCI is needed because I've cleaned most of the user's contributions already (List of The Middle episodes and List of Weeds episodes, for example). I'm listing these here in case I don't have time to clean them all by myself (it's best to check the whole article). Theleftorium 23:14, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
