    • I think this is not a copyvio but plagiarism from a PD book. (A NIST handbook without an explicit copyright notice and probably not copyrightable.) So far nobody has explicitly contradicted this, but I would appreciate additional opinions. Discussion has stalled while the article is completely replaced by a copyvio template. Fixing might be as easy as adding {{NIST-PD}}. If you think you have a good idea whether the NIST handbook is PD or not, please comment at Talk:History of measurement.
