  • Bethesda Lutheran Communities, this is almost certainly not the format I am supposed to post this in. Apologies. Had a COI edit request on this page and I'm declining as the text seems copypaste from bethesdalutherancommunities.org. Poked around the article a little bit, and it seems ok, but I just did a few verbatim google searches. Anyway, figured the request on the talk needed revdel. • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement (as PBS made clear when posting this). However, all contribs by this editor certainly need to be looked at, as do the IP edits that are interspersed among them. I've reverted Fritz Mauthner to a clean version; the first copyvio there was from an IP, not this editor's account. Noting for tomorrow: 82.23.157.218, 86.13.108.57, both with similar interests to Lisaki81, but a wider range of pages edited; also possibly 82.24.20.7. So, the articles edited by at least one of Lisaki81 and those IPs seem to be:
A couple of other suspect IPs had edits only to Fritz Mauthner‎. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:45, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
PBS, unless you see any where any further investigation is needed, I think that's all that can be done here. I've reduced several substantial articles to tiny stubs, but don't have the right background to do anything about rewriting them. Damn! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:58, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dam indeed! It is so disheartening to have to shred an article. Unfortunately I only came across the copyright violation because I was cleaning up some articles that referenced the {{EB1911}} template. This usually includes using earwig tool to check the current text against the original on Wikisource so that that text from EB1911 can be identified. I then try to identify the source of the other text if it is not cited. Unfortunately in this case I came across the copyright violation. However although I could see a pattern in the edits made by Lisaki81 these are not areas I usual edit, so I left them to someone else to review. I will look through the articles in the near future and add some text if I can find suitable sources. Thanks for your help Justlettersandnumbers. -- PBS (talk) 22:10, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
