SoWhy (talk · contribs) I am on Wikipedia since March 2004, but I have only started serious work within the last 3 months, amassing massive edits this month due to some vandal fighting and article assessment. This said, I also participated in XfDs, Talk pages and RfAs, but I still feel like a newbie sometimes due to the fact that half my overall edits in four years were made this month. So I'd like some opinions whether I did good or what to change. Thanks in advance! So#Why 21:25, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Reviews
- I've seen you around a lot recently, and I've been somewhat impressed by your attitude which is resounding much of what the community expects from users. You have some good contributions and the editing in the last month was very much extended in comparison to the ones prior to that. You have a keen interest in articles and are partly-experienced (but needs a lot more, in my opinion) in project space work (i.e. AIV, RFPP etc.) Overall, I'd be willing to nominate you in a few months (say end of October?) for adminship, if not you are already nominated by someone else that is! - I've also seen you before but I was surprised to the fact that you weren't an admin! I think, overall, you have made Wikipedia a very good place.
H2H05:42, 9 August 2008 (UTC) - I'm happy with your edits, although your comments on ETS Europe surprised me, as most of what I put in was copied from the main ETS article, where it had not received such criticism! ::::Johnbibby (talk) 21:40, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Good question, always one for RfAs as well as I have seen. And I always wonder, how I'd answer it. Well, I think all of them that were not creating controversy. I am more of a WikiGnome myself and I often cleanup edits, try to make new pages created by newbies to look nicer, fight vandalism, add album covers, all that that's needed to have Wikipedia running smoothly. Of articles I created or participated it, I think I like List of NCIS episodes which I brought from small tables to complete tables including all information needed (I hope so at least). Also, I created multiple episode-articles for NCIS, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, but the last two are unfortunately transferred away from here now. But I thought them nice^^
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Hmm, I had some conflicts, of course, who hasn't. But none were major and I remember none exactly. I never took it to edit warring or revert warring and I always tried to be civil when in conflicts which I think I did quite well. Also, most conflicts or reasons for stress were minor disagreements and I usually thought it wiser to abstain and wait for the others to cool down or simply accept that they will not change their opinion. I usually am a calm person and try to deal the best I can with everyone based on their arguments, not themselves. It served me well so far. And if I ever get into major fights with the other party breaching policy, I am quite aware that vandals can be blocked or that there is a 3RR. But I usually try to assume good faith.
