Wikipedia:Editor review/WWE Socks (2)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WWE Socks (talk · contribs · count) I would like to put myself forward for consideration as an Administrator on the English Wikipedia, in order to allow me to contribute to the project in the extra ways the admin tools allow. I would like to be reviewed for this. I've been a member since September 10 2006 under Socks 01 and then WWE Socks since December 2007. WWE Socks 23:19, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

It seems that you removed relevant, properly sourced information from Wikipedia's page on Bobby Knight.

That was an accident. I just started using the Anti-vandal tool and sucked at using it. I mistakenly clicked the rollback button which reverted non-vandalism. I now understand how I need to be more careful and will not make another mistake like this again. Sorry all. WWE Socks 08:35, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hello WWE Socks, you appear to be a experienced user especially when it comes to content, like article maintenance and improvements. Your not quite ready for adminship but with every edit you make you are getting closer to your goal. Your edit count is pretty low given the time you have been on Wikipeida, its a shame but most users who vote at WP:RfA have an established minimum of 5,000 edits but you can easily get there by continuing to maintain the encyclopedia and by editing everyday. I also noticed you have very few wiki-space edits you will need more in that category and admin related fields before being accepted to the job. I recommend you try you hand at WP:AFD and WP:MFD where you will be able to learn more about policy and interact with the community more. You might also want to request rollback rights if you don't already have them, it will be a step in the right direction towards adminship. Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I believe I've made contributions that have positively added to the project. Most of my edits are in the article namespace.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I have never been in a serious conflict before. That doesn't mean I haven't had disagreements, but I've resolved them by talking it out.
  3. Do you feel that pages can be moved without a discussion to form consensus, and do you feel that WP:BOLD overrides such a requirement? ArcAngel (talk) 18:05, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that WP:BOLD does override this requirement. And if someone does disagree with the move then the page is moved back and discussion should be formed. WWE Socks 00:07, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
