I'm fairly pleased with how this is looking. There are 41 GA/FAs on sharks (which is a good number for such a narrow topic) along with nine sets of DYKs. There are also five selected pictures (of valued or featured status) and a solid, well presented list of key topics. The portal is then fleshed out with WikiProjects, and introduction, a category tree and the like. I'm happy to work with any suggestions, but I feel that this portal is worthy of being featured. - Have relevant WikiProject talk pages been notified? Cirt (talk) 22:06, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Sharks, oceans and fish have all been notified. J Milburn (talk) 23:36, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support - Looks nice. --ZooFari 02:31, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Self-nomination. See archived peer review. I believe the portal meets the standards for Featured Portal status. Thank you for your time, Cirt (talk) 20:27, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support I find nothing wanting. Well Done! TomStar81 (Talk) 18:04, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A few thoughts from a brief look around...
Bit of a grim topic, nautrally, but this is well done. I particularly like the "in this month" section. J Milburn (talk) 16:32, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for making those changes. Looking again, a couple more things are jumping out-
Hopefully you'll be able to get something useful from these ideas... J Milburn (talk) 17:51, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- I'm happy to support at this time. I don't feel the portal is perfect, but I certainly think it's excellent. Very pretty (if pretty is the right word...) and care has been taken. A good subject for a portal. J Milburn (talk) 20:06, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you. Cirt (talk) 20:07, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- This is extraordinarily trivial, but it looks like Portal:Biological warfare/Related portals makes me click on a specific coordinate on the imagemaps in order to reach the linked portal and some of them are missing rollover captions on my Firefox browser. Is there anything wrong with using the default parameter and if not, I created a tweaked version at User:Jh12/Draft9 Thanks, --Jh12 (talk) 08:30, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Done. Fixed it, using suggestions from userspace draft, as recommended. Thank you, Cirt (talk) 21:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Looks good. In terms of future maintenance, definitely get a replacement 10th selected article as soon as possible. I didn't find any good candidates from MilHist, but you can also add Category:A-Class military history articles for potential article sources --Jh12 (talk) 17:33, 26 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]
- Nod, okay, definitely will do. :) Cirt (talk) 21:40, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support - this portal is well-made and I can't see anything I would complain about. (After working on Portal:Battleships I have a much higher appreciation for those who develop portals of this quality) -MBK004 04:08, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support looks nice overall. fetchcomms☛ 19:45, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OhanaUnited (talk · contribs) may be busy with some other things going on at the moment. As it appears that there is support, and without objection for promotion, I will close this discussion in one week. -- Cirt (talk) 02:56, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
