- WP:NFCC#1, #8 - Given the availability of free images like File:Picture 2149LouisvilleArena.jpg and this on Flickr, it seems a non-free version of this particular view (and arguably any view of the exterior) is unnecessary and easily replaced by a free image. - This image violates Wikipedia Non-Free Content Criterion 3a: Minimal usage (Multiple items of non-free content are not used if one item can convey equivalent significant information) as another image, File:KaneNewTiberiumWars.jpg is already serving the same purpose. - Comment. I'm more inclined to have File:KaneNewTiberiumWars.jpg deleted as it appears to be a screenshot, while File:Cc kane shot.jpg appears to be a promotional image (needing size reduction). Personally, I see it more fit to have promotional images display a fictional character in the infobox, as opposed to screenshots. — ξxplicit 01:41, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Unused screenshot of WinFIG, tagged {{PD-self}}. I see no indication on the WinFIG home page that the interface of this program is free of copyright restrictions. - One of two non-free images used in Jane Thurgood-Dove to show what Mrs. Thurgood-Dove looked like. The two images together fail WP:NFCC#3a; there is no need for two images when one suffices. I chose this one to nominate for deletion, but that choice was rather arbitrary; perhaps File:Jthurgooddove1.jpg should be deleted instead, if editors believe this image is superior. —Bkell (talk) 06:22, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Non-free image used in Playhouse 90 to show what Rod Serling looks like; but we have an (apparently) free image of Rod Serling that could be used instead (File:SerlingZeroHour.jpg). The fair-use rationale for this image makes the claim that it is important to show Rod Serling juxtaposed against the title card for the television series, but I fail to see why this juxtaposition is so essential to readers' understanding.
