File:Jaya Bhaduri in Jawani Diwani, 1972 film.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Ekabhishek (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

I don't get it. Why do we need a non-free image of this actress now when we have free images of her on Commons? I don't see any superb rationale either to keep this particular image in both the articles for which rationale is given. Maybe the situation was different in 2009 when it was uploaded. But now we have to let it go. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 06:43, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File:Toy story 3 ost.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Oiv8 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

WP:MOSFILM#Soundtrack and fails WP:NFCC#8, removal of the file will not be detrimental to the readers understanding of the article topic. Soham 07:45, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's an original album cover, if not why is it on iTunes Music? UBStalk 09:16, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Who is saying that it is not the "original album cover"? It fails the two I have mentioned above. Take the time out to read them in full, should solve all your queries. Soham 12:39, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Derivative work of a copyrighted image.  — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:25, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, though it was his photograph so it was okey. Sorry, if its wrong. Nnot used to uploading images.
I would add how do we know its a copyrighted image? Its part of a publ;ic space, an elecotral campaign is not going to copyright their image. The more use the better for them.Lihaas (talk) 13:06, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not a problem. Think of it this way: when an image is safe under FOP provisions in its country of origin, it's accepted under the Commons licensing standards, and anything accepted by Commons is safe here. In other words, if we moved it to Commons, we'd still be fine using it on an en:wp article. Otherwise, we'd have to delete most or all of the images in Commons:Category:FoP-Thailand. Fails WP:NFCC#8. The cartoon figure in question is already pictured in another image on the same article, and we don't need visual illustration to understand the idea that, among other things, it was also printed on oil tanks. Fut.Perf. 11:47, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Deleted by Stifle - Peripitus (Talk) 00:34, 23 February 2014 (UTC) Three images uploaded by Vaibhavupadhyay (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log). This is a three-part nomination, embracing File:Vaibhav upadhyay.jpg, File:Vaibhav upadhyay and his friends.jpg, and File:Vaibhav upadhyay in adikaal.jpg. All three are unused, and they're completely unencyclopedic: they were uploaded for use at User:AXiS CreepyPastas, which was essentially a WP:MYSPACE violation (see WP:AN#User:AXiS CreepyPastas for a relevant discussion), and not at all useful for anything else.
