Request Information
[edit]- Request made by: KP 08:08, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- The Joe Lieberman page
- Who's involved?
- Mostly myself and user LionO
- What's going on?
- Edit war, where he is continually changing language that dozens of editors have viewed as legit, one that I've been afraid to leave because he'll just make the page into a PR page for JL.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I'd like the consensus opinion on the page contents to be respected.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- You can reach me at ken03@cqmail.net. I would prefer this occur quickly, as a political page about someone running for office is at issue, making it time sensitive. The response may include temporary bans for both of us and/or protecting the page. I'm willing to take a ban for almost any length if a revert is made to a consensus page and he is prevented from editing it for as long as I am.
Mediator response
[edit]The Mediation Cabal cannot issue bans. That's not what we're here for. Stifle (talk) 10:11, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
No activity on dispute for two weeks. Closing case. --Ideogram 16:55, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
