Autobiography of a non-notable person who will never be notable enough for Wikipedia. Per the discussion at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#User:Uchu RRFisher and an apparent requirement for applicants to be in Wikipedia, the user is creating an autobiography in order to try and progress his real-life career, which is not an acceptable use of Wikipedia. - Keep - In my opinion, a valid use of draft space to try to establish notability of a non-notable person. I only support deletion of drafts of non-notable people and companies if they are being tendentiously resubmitted, and this one is not, or if they meet any of the criteria for speedy deletion. - Keep. The draft is only a few days old and AfC is the place to work this out, not AfD. There are always problems evaluating scientists in industry and scientists who leave the research track to go into administration. Their work is no longer visible, though it may have considerable influence. It takes time and that is what AfC is for. StarryGrandma (talk) 21:49, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- Keep. http://science.gsfc.nasa.gov/sed/bio/richard.r.fisher Looks notable to me. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:00, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- comment - I rewrote this and moved it to main space at Richard R. Fisher. This very distinguished but Wikipedia-ignorant scientist got thrown a bad curveball by that committee. He actually did the right thing for a conflicted editor by submitting a draft to AfC, and was wonderfully responsive, coming to COIN after he was given notice, as best he could figure that out. - Thank you, Jytdog. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:51, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
