More Maynassar article copies

[edit]

Maynassar (talk · contribs) has made copying articles into userspace their exclusive Wikipedia activity. The pages don't appear to be sandboxes for article improvement, because they are not edited after the copy is made. Forty-four such copies were deleted in November per Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Maynassar article copies. So in December and January, the user made 10 more. Not the same articles as before, so technically none are WP:CSD#G4. I contemplated speedy deleting the lot as an administrative WP:IAR, but decided to err on the side of caution and nominate them here. --RL0919 (talk) 19:37, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete all such User:Maynassar subpages (pages copied for translation purposes but left untouched in his userspace) after ~1 month. User:Maynassar is doing good work elsewhere, but forgets to clean up afterwards by tagging these temporary pages with {{db-u1}}. If left indefinitely, these articles are unacceptable as copies of past versions of live pages. In future, delete such pages after 1 month by tagging with db-u1 and linking to this discussion, if that is the resulting consensus here, until User:Maynassar asks otherwise. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:10, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
