The result of the discussion was: delete . What do you mean you’ve never been to Alpha Centauri? Oh, for heaven’s sake, mankind, it’s only four light years away, you know. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 19:14, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
A single star system, not a sufficiently broad topic for a portal per WP:POG. Category:Alpha Centauri contains 11 articles if you exclude the ones about science fiction which takes place there. Hut 8.5 19:12, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

- Delete - Automated portal, 0 subpages, created 2018-09-08 23:52:31, to be deleted: Portal:Alpha Centauri. Pldx1 (talk) 20:59, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - As discussed repeatedly. This is yet more of the wave of reckless portal creation. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:26, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
