Portal:Daddy Yankee

Single person portal. 60 song and 7 album pages but still just an unreferenced bio with his works, all of which can be accessed just fine off his wikipedia article. Insufficient scoop for a portal. Not an X3. Legacypac (talk) 08:18, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - If we're going to play the numbers game, 67 pages is certainly sufficient scope for a portal. Problems with the biography article itself aren't related to whether or not a portal should exist. Waggers TALK 12:53, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

??? This portal is an unreferanced bio. We have been deleting many bios because almost all bios are agreed to be insufficent scope for a portal. See many examples in the archives. Legacypac (talk) 13:06, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment – In the 2014 discussion at Wikipedia talk:Portal/Guidelines/Archive 7 § References in portals, users were against references being existent in portals. As such, a lack of sources in this present portal does not qualify deletion. North America¹⁰⁰⁰ 08:58, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete The WP:POG guideline makes clear: portals are for the broadest possible subject areas. A single performer (whose article is not even a level-4 vital article, i.e. not in the top 10,000) is not such a subject area. UnitedStatesian (talk) 15:00, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment at my last count we have deleted 42 single person portals and keep two this year. The keeps had plenty of delete votes just not enough to get a delete result. This person is not a superstar.
