The result of the discussion was: Delete. — xaosflux Talk 17:39, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
Fails WP:POG with only 16 articles in Category:Diving decompression plus the main article, a template and this portal. A mass creation of TTH. Legacypac (talk) 21:33, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
- Comment – WP:X3 is a present proposal discussion; it is not a guideline or policy. As such, it is not a valid qualifier for deletion. North America1000 09:18, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- Comment. Does not seem a broad enough topic. Many of the selected articles are clearly unsuitable (lists of terms, two different outlines, general diving articles and completely unrelated articles). I note there are 15 portals on diving topics now. Espresso Addict (talk) 13:00, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - The 15 related portals are better less narrow topics and still mostly too narrow and just illustrate how reckless the creation of these portals has been. The existence of 16 diving portals is a sort of compression that runs the risk of giving Wikipedia the bends. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:34, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
- Yes 16 diving portals seems excessive. I picked one to bring forward that was a clear POG fail but I could see a group nom to trim the collection. Legacypac (talk) 03:41, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
