Portal:Women's history (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) with all subpages

Not a joke nomination - a joke of a portal. Busted portal that no one has bothered to fix. 60% of the time the featured article will not work and 11/12 of the month pages do not work. One of the DYKs refers to a photo that existed on the page it was copied from but not on this page. Portals require maintainers and this portal has none. After this title has been neglected for years, don't post how the page can be fixed by some interested editors who will materialize someday. It's been junk for years and categorized as needing attention while the portal team created thousands of narrow topic portals. Legacypac (talk) 03:46, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom, clearly a stillborn portal. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 05:31, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Has red links, indicative of inadequate maintenance. Regardless of whether articles needing fixing should be fixed or deleted, portals that are not being maintained should be deleted; new portals can always be created when a human is available for the purpose. • Comment. Clearly a portal-suitable topic, yet this portal was never finished and appears to have been abandoned by its creator in Sept 2017. It is still categorised as 'Portals under construction' and is therefore not intended for viewing. (I think Legacypac's stats are wrong; I see 6/12 month entries and 4/5 selected articles.) Additional work may have happened from when I pulled the stats a while ago. The portal includes subpages which also need deleting. I actually tried draftifying this one but that was reversed, and draftifying portals does not work anyway as it breaks them I learned though a little experimenting.
