The result of the debate was a speedy deletion per CSD G4, with a healthy dose of WP:POINT. This goes against community consensus and Wikipedia protocols. Any vitriol can be directed toward me at my talk page. -- Merope 18:06, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Attempt to recreate Esperanza - possibly speedy deletion, in which case can be closed early. Also has subpages and a fledgling bureucracy. Carcharoth 17:45, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
The following subpages are also listed for deletion:
- Speedy Delete Recreation of deleted content perhaps? Just beat me to the nomination. --Spartaz 17:47, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, delete, delete. This is an attempt to skirt community consensus, which is abundantly clear following Esparanza's MfD. —bbatsell ¿? 17:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- I'd contend it's speediable. Not explicitly in WP:CSD, but quite obviously a flagrant breach of consensus reached at the Esperanza MFD, which is what this new MFD will probably turn into. – Chacor 17:49, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think this comes under speedy delete. I think the intense irony of the only elements of Phoenix so far being the self-appointed "co-ordinators" (no normal members mind you) and a Coffee Lounge is not lost on anyone. Can we not mark historical this time? :) Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 17:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Speedy or otherwise. Perhaps letting this MfD run its course would be useful for setting a precedent for speedy deletion of future Esperanza recreations. SuperMachine 17:52, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - not again. Please, no. Esperanza does not deserve to rise from the ashes. But it does deserve to die a natural death, with dignity. Please let that happen. And what's up with everyone's addiction to "Governance", anyway? Moreschi Deletion! 17:56, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - the talk page has this comment: "Before this gets deleted, you should probably move your effort to WikiSocial." - please can anyone wanting to run an Esperanza-style bureaucracy please consider going over there? Also, I haven't managed to list the subpages yet. Can someone else do that? Thanks. I agree with Dev920 - too new to need preservation of the history (can't believe I said delete history...) Carcharoth 17:57, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Done. -- Merope 18:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. I'm very much inclined to speedy it: I don't think we need another huge MfD discussion about it. It's done, it's over, let's deal with it and get back to creating an encyclopedia. -- Merope 18:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
