- Keep Retag {{PD-Pre1978}}. The actress only lived until 1929 and it is entirely likely it was taken prior to 1923, but even if it wasn't, I see no evidence that the image complied with appropriate copyright requirements and it is now PD anyway. — BQZip01 — talk 04:43, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment The actress was active until her death and appeared in 38 films between 1923 and 1929, [1] so I see no evidence that the image was taken prior to 1923. The web source [2] doesn't provide more detail that we can determine this work as copyright no-notice. --Thirdship (talk) 18:57, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Still under copyright as Turaniden-Studien by Ilse Schwidetzky was published in 1950 [3]. feydey (talk) 11:16, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- The book Turaniden-Studien by Ilse Schwidetzky Published in 1950, BUT images used in that book were made much earlier! Those images were made in Central Asia in the Soviet Union period in 1920s, i.e. more than 80 years ago, they have NO named author, thus they are free(and also according to the Russian laws images made in the former USSR more than 50 years ago are in the public domain) and this images were used not only in "Turaniden-Studien" but also in many other Russian or Western books on anthropology.-For example Russian book "Ярхо А.И. Краткий обзор изучения турецких народностей Средней Азии. 1927" (Yarkho. Brief review of Turkish peoples in Central Asia.1927)Hope they won't be deleted (Math920 (talk) 03:42, 11 April 2010 (UTC))[reply]
