- Unused image. I am fairly sure this was lifted from http://www.lehighvalleychorus.com/pictures/pictures.htm, and in particular Contest 2006. However the links are now dead. Soundvisions1 (talk) 02:48, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Images using a "self" license, some of which state "I Randall Colmus created this work entirely by myself." At face value that may not seem to be an issue however one of th eimages is used in the King Lizzard article. The first thing it says is King Lizzard (born Randall James Colmus)... The article was also created by this user. It is unlikely this musician played live shows and also took images of themselves when on stage. I don't doubt the signature one some of these is their own, but I question the actual image. From the overall looks of things this user was/is here only to promote themselves. Soundvisions1 (talk) 14:39, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your stupid nominator cannot tell WP:PUF from WP:FFD. Apologies for the inconvenience. Angus McLellan (Talk) 20:54, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Non-free and presumably replaceable image since the redevelopment mentioned appears not to have started. May not meet WP:NFCC#1 and perhaps also, #8. Angus McLellan (Talk) 16:07, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Confusing that the notice is a question about its copyright status. The photo is attributed to OSEG in the source document. I'll make that clear in the description. The photo is used to illustrate the asphalt of the park and its current condition, not the development. The condition of the park is essential to the understanding of the park's condition. A park that is completely paved over. The development is scheduled to start soon. So, while I listed 'possible' for a free replacement, I would have to say it is very unlikely that a free photo with an aerial view of Lansdowne Park will be created. I'll change that too. ʘ alaney2k ʘ (talk) 16:19, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Defense
- - No free equivalent or similar is available. The City of Ottawa has similar photographs, but they are also non-free. There is no similar vantage point available from a building or natural feature making a free picture possible. The condition of the park is clearly determined in the photograph, whereas text would not be able to convey the condition (size of the park, the removal of all green space.
- - Not used in a manner inconsistent with the original purpose.
- - a) Only non-free on page. b) Significantly reduced from original quality.
- - Published.
- - Is encyclopedic.
- - Used in Image policy compatible way. Next to section discussing condition.
- - Used in one article
- - Contextually significant. While stating site is paved over, the photograph heightens the understanding with the complete impact of the paving over clearly visible.
- - Used in article in compliance with policy
- - Fair use rationale provided.

- File:Graeme in action-jpeg.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- This says "Personal photo of Graeme" however based on prior deletions of File:Graeme in action.jpg for orphaned fair use this is a personal photo from the uploaders collection and not one they took themselves. Same with File:20a.jpg which was deleted as File:Graeme Storm.jpg Soundvisions1 (talk) 17:00, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: keep. If you think the file isn't useful, suggest WP:FFD. No reasonable explanation provided why this isn't free. Magog the Ogre (talk) 09:49, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: marked fair use - clearly as derivative work. Will be marked as lacking rationale; it is the uploader's responsibility to provide one befitting for the article. Magog the Ogre (talk) 09:53, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- File:SniperAtWorkBadge.JPG (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Not obviously a free image. Maybe the uploader can get a release from PIRA's Army Council? Or tag it non-free? But that would probably fail NFCC #3 and #8 in the context in which it is used. Angus McLellan (Talk) 20:52, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- It's obvious that the badge is simply merchandise that has been bought (legally) from a republican shop. I see no reason to delete it. ~Asarlaí 21:17, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- The Pin is merchandise which is sold at the Sinn Féin shop in Dublin. There was recent controversy over the use of it and I felt it was worthy of inclusion in the article. --Baldeadly (talk) 21:38, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Holt's bitter.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Source is flickr, there are a couple problems.
- Flickr didn't offer a PD option in 2009.
- Now it says all rights reserved.
It seems like a fairly clear copyright violation to me. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs 23:07, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
