Strong keep. The possessive form is used to demonstrate a relationship, it's not necessarily ownership (otherwise phrases like "my wife" would be problematic!). "Jimmy Carter's rabbit" would therefore be a correct way to refer to a rabbit that allegedly attacked Jimmy Carter. If a victim is describing someone that attacked them, it would be natural to start the sentence with the possessive phrase "My attacker..."
