[edit]do you have review sources for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Vic_Damone_(Album) Samchristie05 (talk) 07:23, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
- This is likely to be tricky. Having checked all the likely titles at Category:Music magazines published in the United Kingdom, it appears that in 1950 such magazines were devoted to (mainly) classical or jazz music, and any that covered popular music began to do so only later in the 1950s. Even Melody Maker (my first guess) seems unlikely to have covered the likes of Del Shannon before 1952 at the earliest.
- You might want to check out the lists of magazines of some other countries, as listed in Category:Music magazines by country, including Category:Music magazines published in the United States. Having, through reading their articles, identified possible candidates, you could then investigate whether archives of them are available in libraries (which you might have to visit in person to consult), or in possession of collectors known to you, etc.
- Hope this is of some help: research is often not easy (says this former professional text and picture researcher). {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.205.111.170 (talk) 07:59, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
