I recently come to feel that Wikipedia is a way to express myself and to develop certain knowledge in an friendly atmosphere. I have been dedicating good part of my time editing and creating articles. I thought, why not me, then? Also, I think getting into administration might be intresting and a way to learn from the wikipedia better. I liberally assist Wikipedia:WikiProject European Union and Wikipedia:WikiProject Argentina though I don't really consider myself a "member" of any of them. I'm just happy that my interests coincide with theirs.--Fercho85 (talk) 06:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I am primarily a recent change patroller. The admin work I anticipate getting involved in would be in support of other content builders, in areas like the discution of deleted content, helping with protected or semi-protected pages, page protection when necessary, and perhaps helping with disputes.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: It's difficult to say, I have created several articles and they are all special to my. Nonetheless I took some pride in the creation of two neibourhoods of Buenos Aires and in the improvement of Italian settlement in Argentina.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes I have, though it was difficult to me because by the time it happened I was a "newby" I checked disputes on the wiki and resolved the problem following the rules.

[edit]Support
[edit]- Moral support, you're certainly a good user, but I'm afraid you will have large difficulties passing due to your low edit count and little experience with editing mainspace articles. --Aqwis (talk – contributions) 07:10, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose
[edit]- Oppose - Hey there, thanks for expressing interest in helping with the project by offering to be an administrator. Unfortunately, your lack of edits in vital Wikipedia areas doesn't give me enough information or the confidence to judge whether you could use the administrator tools accurately and wisely. I'd come back in about 4-5 months of heavy editing in various namespaces. Regards! Wisdom89 (T / C) 07:11, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. You're on the right track so far, but it'll take some more work to give the community evidence of your experience and knowledge of policy. Please try an RFA again when you are in the 2000-3000 edits range. You may wish to take a look at my admin criteria for a sample of what some users expect in an admin candidate. Good luck in the future and if you ever have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. Useight (talk) 07:16, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per Wisdom and Useight, really. You need more experience in all the namespaces but that shouldn't take too long. Hope to see you around in a few months. Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk? 08:39, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose Sorry, but you need more experience in admin-related areas; WP:CSD, WP:AIV, WP:AN/I, WP:UAA etc. I am sure that with a little more time you will get there. Also, please try always to use edit summaries. You can enable a reminder in the preferences tab, above. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 11:42, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong oppose anyone who believes that replacing a user's page with "'FUCKINGGG RACIST IDIOT SUCK MY DICK LEAVE ARGENTINA ALONE" [1] is in any way appropriate, is clearly a long way from being an administrator. This was just a few months ago. You need a lot more good editing to get past that. Gwernol 11:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
