Suspected sockpuppets

[edit]

See [1] where Agilityman restored content previously added by the globally-locked Americanabroda, shortly after I removed it. See the contributors edits to TB Joshua, where both have been adding similar badly-sourced promotional content. Both contributors share the same focus on the promotion of Nigerian preachers (e.g. Agilityman's twice-rejected Draft:Johnmark Ighosotu), and neither seem to show the slightest interest in complying with Wikipedia policy regarding neutrality, appropriate sourcing, or even relevance to article subjects - it isn't entirely clear that the Gaurav Yadav in the biography linked above is the same person as the one being cited for an inane comment on T. B. Joshua, but even if it is, I'd call it self-evident that it has no place in the biography of an Indian cricketer. I've not looked in detail into Americanabroda's global contributions, but I will note that both seem to have made edits concerning Isiah Ogedegbe, an obscure Nigerian blogger and preacher. [2][3]. Given that Agilityman also added a photo of Ogedegbe to an unrelated article [4] with no real justification whatsoever, one might well also suspect some sort of CoI. 15:58, 25 February 2024 (UTC) AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:58, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Technically this is  Possilikely (a mix between possible and likely): same obscenely busy and wide ranges, but same distinctive UA. I'll block based on the CU result and behaviour. I didn't attempt a sleeper check as it would have driven me insane. Redirect arrow Global lock(s) requested for Agilityman, closing. Thanks, Spicy (talk) 16:22, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
