After Chicagobears94 was warned for 3RR on reverting an attempt to redirect "his" article Emure to the fuller Emure Ekiti (which the town is also called), a brand new user showed up to revert it again. Only other edit is to a Chicago Bears player article, which obviously Chicagobears94 has a great interest in. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 03:02, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Chicagobears94 attempted to move Visible spectrum in January: [1]
  • New account Idonije71 attempted the same move today. [2]. Note that the Chicagobears also mentions the move on the article's talk page, and was told at the time that the move was not appropriate.
  • Coincidence is unlikely because of this edit by Chicagobears on Idonije's talk page. At the time, Idonije had only a few edits since account creation, at least one of which mentions the Chicago Bears.
  • The IP address appears to be the same user because of this series of edits to Idonije's talk page, in which the IP creates barnstars but edits them so they appear to come from other users. Idonije also made edits to his own page today, in which he forged the signatures of other users.Srleffler (talk) 02:59, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Pretty obvious based on the evidence supplied and a basic check through the contribs. I've blocked the "main" account for 2 weeks with a warning forthcoming that further socking will result in that account being blocked indef. User:Idonije71 has been blocked indef as a sockpuppet and the IP has been blocked for 2 weeks (it is static) as well. User:Manning38 has made similar edits to Israel Idonije see here which were common edits from only Chicagobears94 socks see here, here and the sockmaster himself [3]. Also all socks had similar userpages Chicagobears94, Idonije71, and the new sock Manning38.

Bearsfan1234's userpage is the exact same as Chicagobears94's userpage and other socks of this user. It's a fairly obvious reincarnation.

I'm not a "sockpuppet". Those accounts aren't me. And those wiki pages: Why can't I make a wiki page for an athlete if he's on an NFL or UFL roster?Bearsfan1234 (talk)
