Suspected sockpuppets

On the Bosaso page, the Naqx1 account published nearly completely identical major edits as did the previous Dolf133 and Dahalson accounts:

Now onto the Dayl22 and Argali1 accounts. While I was looking at the contribs of the Naqx1 account, I came across the page Dishiishe where I saw a severe amount of sockpuppetry (or disruptive editing at the very least) going on. I noticed, the version of the page Naqx1 kept restoring is essentially the same as Argali1's.

Dayl22 is the page creator, and their version of the page, albeit less developed, features spelling and other typographic errors as well as imperfect english like the contribs from these other accounts. For example, in the Dayl22 version, there's an extra comma and space after "Dishishe". The sentence "and Dhofar region in Sultanate of Oman where largerly inhabit Dishiishe sub-clan of Muhdi" does not make much sense. In the territory section, "Others" is capitalised despite a comma before it, and there's a missing fullstop at the end. In the Naqx1 and Argali1 versions, the sentence "and naturally based the area of the city and it's environs and constituencies" does not make much sense either.

Even the diff by Dolf133 on Bosaso also shows many spelling errors and poor writing, like "extnict", "Thye were joined by, not long after, by the Deshiishe", "Bosaso represented in the Parliament of the succeeding Trust Territory of Somalia", and extra fullstop after the sentence "Barkhad Ali Salah served as the first Mayor for the town".

So all-in-all, these spelling errors and non-native-like english writing lead me to believe these accounts are operated by the same person.

I know these are old accounts that last edited as long as nearly 5 years ago. The reason why I'm bringing them up here, and thinking they should be blocked, is that I believe this person uses these accounts like "sleepers". The Naqx1 account last made an edit on 2 October 2020 until suddenly it re-published an edit made by previous sockpuppets on Bosaso today. The Dahalson account, same thing. It last edited on 16 October 2019 then the person logged into it on 23 January 2024 to perform the same edit as Dolf133 on Bosaso. — AP 499D25 (talk) 01:00, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've also come across the Awad12 and Nasib122 accounts as well, after a further look at the page history of Dishiishe.
Awad12's version of the page also features imperfect language and spelling, like "It is forms part of Puntland" and "The clan primarily inhabit in Northeastern Puntland".
Nasib122's version more closely resembles the versions of the page by Naqx1 and Argali1, with the "Overview" section featuring nearly the same quote as does the "Territory" section in the other versions. It too has imperfect writing like "The clan primarily inhabit Puntland in north eastern Somalia and Dhofar region in Oman where largely inhabit by Dishishe sub-clan of Muhdi, clan members are also found in Kismayo in Southern Somalia. The clan is founding and pioneering tribe of Bosaso and naturally based the area of the city, it's environs and constituencies".
Not that I have a big issue with the writing per se, it's just, all of these accounts seem to have almost the same common misspellings and poor writing?? — AP 499D25 (talk) 01:22, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
