The Trakinwiki account was created on 14 June 2021, just four days after TryingToDo's final attempts to get his block lifted. Trakinwiki's very first edits were !votes at AfD, a pattern of behavior that was "very very very weird for a new user", as one editor observed at the time. Trakinwiki has only participated in a few dozen AfDs, but that's enough for there to be several language-related giveaways. We have the odd phrase "lack of in-depth coverages", which has been used exactly twice in the history of Wikipedia: once by Trakinwiki here, and once by blocked sock Bapinghosh here. We also have "subject is meeting WP:NACTOR", another rare phrase that has been used once by Trakinwiki here and once by Bapinghosh here. There are difficult-to-explain edit summary similarities (compare [12] with [13]; [14] with [15]), and Trakinwiki's articles about Indian state legislators use some of the exact same language as those written by previous socks: with only a few false positives, the articles found by this search query are almost all by either Trakinwiki or TryingToDo. Trakinwiki has made requests for the AfC reviewer and new page reviewer; Bapinghosh made similar requests. The editor interaction tool finds overlap at several fairly low-traffic articles, such as Hira Thind and Falaque Rashid Roy. The accounts in the archives are stale, but I'm requesting checkuser in case there's anything of interest in the logs or on CU-wiki and to check for any sleepers. Even if CU doesn't find anything, though, I think there's ample evidence for a behavioral block. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 03:59, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Samir Bishal was previously reported here (see [16]), but that report was removed since it had been made by another sockpuppet. The account seemed pretty DasSoumik-esque to me as well, so I figured I'd try again. There are edit summary similarities (e.g. compare [17] with [18], "information box"), and there's overlap with previous socks here and elsewhere. Both Samir Bishal and previous socks frequently ask for help from Titodutta (see [19]), and they also request others to review their drafts (see [20] and [21]; note the similar wording). I think there's enough here to justify a check: Aniaug (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is non-stale, and I understand there are also notes on CU-wiki. I'd be surprised if Samir Bishal and Blogs19 were one and the same since they clearly don't get along (SB reported a Blogs19 sock, while a Blogs19 sock reported SB), although I suppose they could just be playing mind games with us. On balance I do still think that Samir Bishal is DasSoumik: for another behavioral tidbit, compare Samir Bishal's "you can select the page for afd" with Aniaug's "I have selected the page for AFD". I came across Nilpriyo engaged in an edit war to recreate Keya Patar Nouko, a page where DasSoumik socks have been active in the past. The editor interaction between Nilpriyo, DasSoumik, and another sock seem to show a fair amount of overlap. Not sure if the older socks will be stale for CU or not, but I think this deserves a closer look behaviorally even if CU is off the table. signed, Rosguill talk 00:05, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
