On February 22, I nominated Werner Raffetseder for deletion, an article about a little-known Austrian "world traveler" created by Dr. mullah (talk · contribs). However, Dr. mullah is Raffetseder, by his own (undeliberate) admission: see File:Werner Raffetseder Self Portrait.jpg; the description says "Werner Raffetseder, self-portrait", as well as "uploaded by the creator". The uploader, of course, was Dr. mullah.
Anyway, as the AfD discussion went along, a number of Austrian IPs and newly created accounts commented to keep the article. I know one should not accuse newbies of being SPAs, but this looks highly suspicious. Could someone please check if these accounts/IPs are operated by the same sock-master? bender235 (talk) 21:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have not used any sockpuppet. And with reference to the alleged "undeliberate admission" as per bender235 (talk · contribs) I must say: yes, I have uploaded the portrait, not more. The German words "vom Urheber (= Rechteinhaber) übermittelt" are specifying my source, meaning that it was forwarded to me (not uploaded!) by the copyright holder respectively by his office via email. IslandHopper (talk · contribs) is behaviorally unrelated, which makes my final result on this account possible. (With the CU result) This could be a meat puppet, but is definitely not a new person.
All other listed users above point to the German Wiki and that the article should be noteable. Also, these look to me like not new accounts and SPAs. That makes the final result likely.

Recommend block of VuestraMerced as likely sock, warn Dr. mullah, block IslandHopper as SPA/meatpuppet, No action on the IP as no recent edits. -- DQ (t) (e) 23:38, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
