Pandaroid began editing in August 2021 by creating an article for a bishop of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, a Keralan Indian denomination. This article has since been draftified for its failure to meet basic requirements for biographical articles. Pandaroid occasionally edited articles on Indian Christianity, most recently 2 June. LendreyL8 starts editing on 27 June, editing apparently finding and editing the same draft that Pandaroid had started on. Oytrfu started editing in April, typically focusing on another Keralan Christian denomination, the Malankara Independent Syrian Church, and created several very poor biographical articles on bishops of this denomination and a church building that were promptly draftified and saw Oytrfu banned from the mainspace on competence grounds. Fenrky shows up to blank one of Oytrfu's drafts (in order that another version of the article might be accepted elsewhere) in May and LendreyL8 passes by to request its deletion in June. As Oytrfu is currently indeffed from the mainspace with a failed appeal and there are about a dozen other incidents of overlap, I think this is not an innocuous incident of password misplacement but either an attempt to circumvent the block or gross incompetence. Athanas P George added copyright violating image originally uploaded to the Commons to Malabar Independent Syrian Church. After image was deleted, Kpmls uploaded the same copyright violating logo to the Commons and added the logo to the same article. Editors overlapped again at Cyril Baselios I with consecutive edits (APG, Kpmls). Liwinkkm, like other other Fenrk socks, has edited exclusively relating to Thozhiyur Metropolitans of the Malabar Independent Syrian Church, including adding copyvio images and unsourced BLP material to Cyril Baselios I, just like confirmed Fenrk sock Ls8anonymous ([3]). These latest socks are very obviously linked to one another: Thohksmal created Draft:Joseph Koorilose IX, which KpmLiswin18 has taken over editing and submitting. Behaviorally, there are similarities to other Fenrk socks: KpmLiswin18's name is very similar to other Fenrk socks (TheLkpms, Kpmls, and Imlsxinis), they focus on topics related to the Malabar Independent Syrian Church, and have edited User talk:Jstalins asking for help (just like Ls8anonymous did). A duck. Henrk08 added a portrait to Cyril Baselios I like fellow Fenrk socks Liwinkkm and Oytrfu ([5], [6]). On the Commons, fellow sock Liswinkpm uploaded images of an event involving elephants (example); Henrk08 has done likewise with File:Kallumpuram perunnal 2023.jpg. HopetoDream's first edit was to my talk page (I have been the primary reporter of Fenrk socks). Like the other Fenrk socks, the focus in on Malabar Independent Syrian Church articles and adding images to them. HopetoDream added an image to Cyril Baselios I–just like socks Henrk08 (diff), Liwinkkm (diff), Athanas P George (diff), and Oytrfu (diff). Lest HopetoDream be mistaken for simply overlapping in interest, they have also found their way onto two drafts created by Fenrk socks: Draft:Awgin Kuriakose and Draft:Kallumpuram. As with other Fenrk socks, this editor almost exclusively focuses on the Malabar Independent Syrian Church and creating articles or drafts for various figures in that religious body. For example, Joleoooo made Joseph Koorilose IX (a massive copyvio) while confirmed sock Thohksmal created Draft:Joseph Koorilose IX. Account name is DUCKy. Funny that they came back again about 4 months later.   • Going off some technical data from cuwiki, Gerooog is certainly  Possible to the sockmaster, but Josuvaa seems  Unlikely to both Gerooog & this sockmaster in general.  Behavioural evidence needs evaluation — TheresNoTime (talk • they/them) 13:51, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hmm, I'd actually say that Josuvaa is a bit more likely to Fenrk than Geroog is, and that the two non-stale accounts are  Possible to each other, although the link between all three of these entities is not much stronger than being in the same region of the same country. But I've blocked both based on the behaviour. The username pattern is pretty sus. It's possible this is WP:MEAT on behalf of the church instead of socking as such.
