Jemima West

Suspected sockpuppets

I'm bringing this to SPI after closing the AfD for Alisha Heng (I). This appears to have been the latest version of an article that has previously been speedy deleted as a hoax under the names Alisha Heng and Alisha Evelyn Heng, which means that I don't have any actual diffs to show you since all of the main edits have been deleted. Basically what's going on here is that we have a concentrated effort to try to add this person to Wikipedia, despite there being an almost complete lack of evidence to back up their claims, one of which was that they won a Sundance Award, which is a fairly well known award. (It'd be almost impossible to win that and not have coverage of this fact.) I do have some small edits remaining that shows some of the users trying to edit various articles to insert her into the cast list ([1], [2], [3], [4]), but by large the most incriminating edits have been deleted. Some of these accounts have already been blocked for vandalism but I'd like a formal SPI to link them all together. A search for sweepers might not be bad since we do have some SPAs that I'm not entirely sure about. I think that Jemima West is the main account with all of this since their edits appear to be the earliest. They've all edited fairly recently for the most part, so I don't think any of them should have gone stale yet. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:38, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • 98.113.139.69 is Obviously a sockpuppet of Jemima West. On the second day of editing (13 February) objected deletion in an AfD about an autobiographical article created by the master ([5][6]). After a sockpuppet recreated the same article today, this IP removed the CSD template from the article [7]. Should be blocked. Continues edits and creation of hoax articles related to Alisha Heng, including Alisha (IV). Dwpaul Talk 23:43, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

NOTE: Isabella12341 reverts my reversion of IP's hoax edits [10] subsequent to SPI notice, providing further evidence of sockpuppetry. In addition, IP was previously blocked (1 wk) for abuse of multiple accounts in connection with the same type of edits, apparently the master learned nothing. The IP was blocked on 29 June 2015 as a sock of Jemima West, and is at it again, adding the name Alisha Heng to multiple articles (sample edits: [15],[16], [17], [18]). Thomas.W talk 11:58, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Once again adding hoax accomplishments for "Alisha Heng" as a model and actress, though now styled as "Ailisa Ann Evangeline O. Heng", "Alisha Anneleise O.H. ", "Adelynn Elizabeth O'Brien" or "Adelaide H. O'Brien", all non-notable. General Ization Talk 02:49, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Stemoc: I couldn't tell whether your sarcasm switch was on, so let me point out there are several reasons to think this is an elaborate hoax. First, per many sources Tori Anderson (who actually has a working biography at IMDB) is playing Tatiana in The Other Kingdom per this and this, not "Alisa Ava Hein" (who has virtually none at IMDB, and no real mentions anywhere else), contrary to this editors' assertion here and presumably here at IMDB. The editor's reversion of my reversion of a previous sock here supplied two cited references, neither of which actually mention "Alisa Ava Hein". Also note a previous sock's editing of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders to add false credits, with which TV show this editor (and the associated IMDB profile) claim an association. 56k followers for that name at Instagram aside, I'm waiting on CU. General Ization Talk 13:52, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Interestingly, see this, which connects "Alisa Ava Hein" with "Alisha Evelyn Heng" and various other aliases (and which is clearly a user-edited site). General Ization Talk 14:04, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Since I see now that IMDB has removed a number of credits for "Alisa", I'm guessing your sarcasm switch was off. General Ization Talk 14:15, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And has now been removed altogether. General Ization Talk 14:21, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I heavily contribute to IMDb too and I created both the enwiki article and IMDb page for "The Other Kingdom" which is why I had to interject when i saw this troll trying to add their false credits..I reported his/her previous IMDb account(s) as well.. I tried to talk to the person via Instagram and I got blocked, the worst part is that s/he is using pictures belonging to actual actresses and models and posing as them and impersonating them...I have already contacted one of these actors s/he is 'posing' as...and hopefully IMDB staff will take care of the rest...also, please add this IPV6 IP to the checkuser list as well..thanks..--Stemoc 17:16, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Stemoc:Thanks. As CU is already completed on this report (thank you, Courcelles), I created another for the IPv6. General Ization Talk 17:48, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Probable sock, once again attempts to insert false credit for "Alisa Ava Hein" at The Other Kingdom as done by previous socks. "Alisa Ava Hein" has been confirmed as yet another alias for Alisha Heng, the identity typically promoted by socks of this master. General Ization Talk 17:47, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since you will be looking anyway, could you also check these, which are listed as suspected socks but never confirmed? Many thanks. General Ization Talk 18:01, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
